In addition to the race, a variety of pre and post-race events are planned.
Racers must attend the Racer Check-In and Gear Check on either Thursday or Friday (first come, first served), the Mandatory Racer Meeting on Friday, March 30 at 1:00 PM, both at Mountaineer Square and the Final Check-In/Beacon and Spot Check on Friday, March 30 at 9:30 PM at the Crested Butte Community School. Additionally, there are many optional events for racers and guests over the two days.

Join other racers and sponsors at the Elevation Hotel outdoor fire pit to skin up to the Ten Peaks restaurant for a dinner at sunset. Located at the top of Painter Boy lift, Ten Peaks has a stunning view of the valley. Dress warm to sit outside at the firepit and enjoy chili, cornbread, salad, dessert and a choice of beer, wine, or soda for just $30 person. 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM Adventure Film Festival. Join racers and their guests for an evening of adventure films. Price is $5 for all non-racers.
